Teletriage connects field based emergency Healthcare practitioners with physicians at the command centre for rapid assessment and diagnosis. Teletransmission of the digital health assessment improves patient prioritization and referral to appropriate care delivery.
What is Teletriage ?
Teletriage is one of the 5 acts of telemedicine. It consists in connecting emergency health practitioners in the field with the attending physician located at the command center.
Digitized remote transmission of photos, videos, documents, 12-lead ECG for a complete medical assessment via an augmented telemedicine platform.
The efficiency of collaboration between in-field practitioners and off-site physicians is greatly improved allowing for faster decision-making in terms of a patient’s pre-hospital care plan and orientation.
